Today's problem: put some mailing-list manager on a customer's machine. Well, no sweat, I mean, I'll have Mailman installed in 5 minutes... I think...
Install Mailman and I get 3 bazillionth errors... what the heck? On this machine we have Python 2.6 and Mailman 2.1.11 only works with 2.4. Not good.
Allright then, get the new version of Mailman, that is an ALPHA. If you read the 'alpha.txt' it says that you need to download something or somethingelse using some crappy versioning tool. And if you try to install such tool it only supports Python 2.4. WHATTHEFUCK! If I had 2.4 on this machine I wouldn't need the new version of Mailman no? And what the fuck is with this junk now? What's wrong with CVS and Subversion?
And to add to the crappiness, the most important thing, the luser-web-gui, DOES NOT WORK!
Of course, the documentation in that splattered pos of 'wiki' only refers to 2.1.11, nothing on 3 besides the fact that it will be fantastic, beautiful, cure all the world's deseases and so on.
SGRAUUUR!
That's why Linux will NEVER be 'mainstream', no, not 'cause the Lusers can't configure it, not because it doesn't support hardware and neither because it doesn't have games. It's because some dickheads decides to redo something that works perfectly and in the process proceed to bum-rape all the half-bazillionth users!
What the FUCK happened to Mailman? Have they suddendly sold out their collective brains?

Comments are added when and more important if I have the time to review them and after removing Spam, Crap, Phishing and the like. So don't hold your breath. And if your comment doesn't appear, is probably becuase it wasn't worth it.
