A (mobile) phone rings in the office.
For some reason, the owner of said telephone thought that having a 'vintage' ring was fun, so the thing goes "ring ring"...
My (joung) new collegue look up from his screen and look around...
He - what's this noise?
Me - X's phone is ringing, he left it on his table.
He - ....yes but... what is that noise?
Me - The phone that is ringing.
He - ... and where the noise came from?
It took me about 10 minutes to figure out that he's never heard the "original" phone bell. He's probably never known a world without instant communication and has never even heard of a "fax" machine.
Now I feel old.
