A study of the University of Bonn reports that developers have no clue about security, are very happy of storing passwords in clear text, don't distinguish encoding from encryption and are prone to copy and paste large swat of code from the internet without understaning them
Something that everybody that works in the field already know because we can see it everyday.
Who's to blame? The school? The government? The society? The individual? I'm not sure, but I think we should start introducing security classes as soon as these people are reaching out for a stupidphone. With the use of corporal punishment if necessary.
